the obese and the poor and hungry

I saw TIME's TV ad. I don't remember the exact figures, but basically, the ad says there are a lot of obese people, including children, whereas there are 800 million people who are constantly hungry. And at the end of the ad, the narrator says "TIME. Know why."

That's a fucking great ad, isn't it? Yeah, I've always felt that way. I've always felt it's disgusting that there are so many hungry people while there are so many fat people.

Political and religious leaders should never be allowed to be fat! Being fat, in itself, is a blatant insult to those who are poor and hungry as fuck!

Do you give a damn?

Do you give a damn about those people, say, in Africa living in abject poverty?

From the point of view of a respectable citizen in an advanced country, I do give a damn, and if you are Japanese, you are far richer than those fucked up people, so you should give a damn.

But I don't give a damn if you don't give a damn! Damn! I don't give a damn about you!

Real's getting better?

    Hey, yo...
I don't know if Real Madrid's getting better...
It was just one match and in that one match they were quite good.

Or maybe it was just that Deportivo was shit, absolutely shit.

But, anyways, it was good to see people giving applause to Ronald's goal and performance...

I don't think Ronald is a valuable asset any more, I rather think Henry is unstoppable and I want him.

But, anyways, it's always good to see people giving applause to a player.

Those who strive for their goals

It's always good to see people striving for their goals.
Those people are beautiful.

One of my under-twenty friends just recently finished her exam to get into college. She's gonnna study pharmacy.

She says she was worried she would never be successful however hard she studied. She even got a renal calculus or something like that, because of excessive stress.

She thought she'd have to live up to the expectations from people around her and that put her under tremendous stress.

She's nice, kind, and sensitive.

Yeah, I like her. I like people like her. And I used to be like her...

Asakusa! Kamikaze town, yeah?

    Hey, yo...
Asakusa is a great town... I didn't know it was so prosperous till today.

I've lived in Tokyo for more 25 years and didn't know how big a town Asakusa really is!

Every time I go there I never fail to find some foreign tourists walking giving glances at things Japanese displayed at those stores along the streets... Not bad, not bad.

Why don't you try Kamikaze bandana, one of those crazy products that distort Japan's image. But it's intentional, Japan being sarcastic about itself. Now on sale, always on sale, maybe at a discount price? No, if you want a discount, go to Don Quixote!

Every day should be a winding ENGLISH road

Great teachers often say, “If you want to improve your crappy English, brother, you gotta study every single day, dude!”

Personally, I like that. I mean, I agree with them. You are Japanese, right? You use Japanese every single day, don’t you? Americans use English every day, too, of course! So do British people. So do Australians.

Then, it’s only natural you try to use English every day, if you want to make your English skills any better.

Keep a diary?

IF YOU WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH, KEEP A DIARY IN ENGLISH...

GREAT TEACHERS often say so. Those old bastards...

If your English is very bad, then NEVER keep a diary in English.

You know why?

Because virtually every single sentence you make is INCORRECT, which means, you're just practising how to make incorrect sentences.

Oh, hang on. Come to think about it, if your English is so bad, there's NO WAY you know what I'm saying, haha!!

That's a shame, a damn shame.
